They did a chest x-ray to check for infection and a breathing treatment and just had us sit there with a cool mist humidifier going.
Diagnosis was Bronchiolitis, caused by a virus. No meds but Tylenol and Motrin to keep the fever down. Tylenol wasn't cutting it, so we stuck with Motrin.
She's home with Daddy today.
Here are a couple shots from Urgent Care on Saturday.

| The contraption she was in to stabilize her during the chest xray. Of her short 11 months, she's had 2 separate sets of X-rays. Poor girl. |

Oh poor thing. I was trying to figure out what that device was! Nat has x-rays at like 10 days old because she had a terrible cough (actually, it was on Halloween, too), so, she was like 20 days old, but they had nothing like that, so I had to hold her little newborn body just right.
ReplyDeleteI hope she's feeling better pronto. I've found the best thing for us is alternating tylenol and motrin...and you can overlap them (so it's like medicine every 2-3 hours), according to our ped.
I hope Annie is feeling better, Christine!
