They did a chest x-ray to check for infection and a breathing treatment and just had us sit there with a cool mist humidifier going.
Diagnosis was Bronchiolitis, caused by a virus. No meds but Tylenol and Motrin to keep the fever down. Tylenol wasn't cutting it, so we stuck with Motrin.
She's home with Daddy today.
Here are a couple shots from Urgent Care on Saturday.
The contraption she was in to stabilize her during the chest xray. Of her short 11 months, she's had 2 separate sets of X-rays. Poor girl. |

Oh poor thing. I was trying to figure out what that device was! Nat has x-rays at like 10 days old because she had a terrible cough (actually, it was on Halloween, too), so, she was like 20 days old, but they had nothing like that, so I had to hold her little newborn body just right.
I hope she's feeling better pronto. I've found the best thing for us is alternating tylenol and motrin...and you can overlap them (so it's like medicine every 2-3 hours), according to our ped.
I hope Annie is feeling better, Christine!
