About two weeks ago, we cancelled our TV service. We just decided we needed to start saving money. We have been watching movies and streaming many things from Netflix and Hulu. It's also an exercise in creativity ... what else can I do besides channel surf????
The hall bathroom is completed and usuable. The contractors have begun gutting out the Master bath.
Interesting Activity:
Went shopping for the kids on Monday. Audrey had the attention of all the other customers in the store.
Biggest Accomplishment:
Audrey slept great 3 of the last 4 nights. We're finding a routine and being consistent between home and daycare is helping a lot.
Weekend Plans:
Don't think we have any tomorrow.
Sunday after church we're going to a friend's house to discuss plans for writing worship songs for the church.
Fun Photos:
Bathroom: Before
The dark around the toilet is mold growing UNDERNEATH the linoleum
Bathroom: After

Wow! You mean you cancelled cable? I find myself thinking about what we would be doing if we didn't have a TV many times, but I am convinced that I could never live without one completely because I love movies. HULU, netflix nad red box are good, affordable alternatives. I did netflix for like 3 months and then cancelled it about a month ago because I wasn't using it enough. Chad and I have been into watching episodes of the old show "Early Edition" lately on HULU. We've also watched Charles in Charge a couple of times. It's been fun!
Yep ... completely cancelled.
So far I only really miss watching the news in the morning.
We have been watching a lot of netflix (streaming) and Hulu. It's not as hard as we thought it would be.
The kids are playing a lot of video games.
I would love to not do anything TV-wise and just be creative with our time. Play games, read books, bake, cook, play outside, etc. I think there is too much technology in the house to have that happen though.
Early Edition was a fun show. I watched that in college.
